A Kindergarten orientation for parents is scheduled for Wednesday, September 3, 2025. Families whose last names begin with the letters A to L will meet at 8:30 A.M. Families whose last names begin with the letters M to Z will meet at 10:00 A.M. The parents should report to their child’s assigned homeroom. Please bring your child’s “BUS NOTICE PASS” from the Brick Board of Education/Transportation with your child’s assigned BUS NUMBER to orientation. Kindergarten students do not come to school on this day. 

Kindergarten students whose last name begins with the letters A to L will report to the gym on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at 8:20 A.M. Dismissal will be at 2:50 P.M. Kindergarten students whose last name begins with the letters M to Z will report to the gym on Friday, September 5, 2025 at 8:20 A.M. There will be early dismissal at 1:00 P.M. Please be sure to pack your child’s lunch and a separate small snack and drink on their assigned day.

ALL Kindergarten students will report to the gym at 8:20 A.M. on Monday, September 8, 2025. Children will be dismissed at 2:50 P.M. 

BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT for grades PreK – Grade 3 is September 17, 2025 at 7:00 P.M. 

SNACK POLICY The children should bring in a small snack every day in a brown lunch bag labeled with their name on it. No snacks will be shared in the classroom because of Saint Dominic’s allergy policy. 

During the first week of school you will receive a bill for all necessary supplies. PLEASE DON’T PURCHASE THE ITEMS OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL, as we would like uniformity with our supplies. However, when you are purchasing uniforms, Velcro shoes/sneakers are permitted and recommended for Kindergarten students. When purchasing a backpack, please be sure it is big enough to fit our Blue Jay Folder and lunch boxes that will be transported daily. 

Here is a list of supplies you will be purchasing from Saint Dominic School:

2 Large Glue Sticks            1 Blue Jay Folder

5 boxes of crayons            1 Journal 

3 Primary Pencils            1 Fiskar Scissor

1 Large pencil case
